ClaimWise™ Achieves Service and Organization Controls (SOC) 2® Type II Compliance

Nokomis is excited to announce that its powerful claim review engine, ClaimWise™, has successfully achieved Service and Organization Controls (SOC) 2® Type II compliance, emphasizing the importance we place on the security of our product and ensuring we're always working in accordance with industry best practice when it comes to keeping our customer data safe.

SOC 2® is a compliance framework designed to define how a company's systems, processes, and controls should manage customer data based on Trust Services Criteria (TSC). The independent assessment by Lindford & Company LLP demonstrates that Nokomis successfully addresses the rigorous standards set out by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) against the following TSC evaluated: Security, Availability, and Confidentiality.

“Data protection is a top priority for us at Nokomis, and the SOC 2® Type II compliance audit is a rigorous review of our Claim Accountability technology, process and controls so we are proud to announce this achievement,” said Rich Henriksen, CEO, Nokomis. “This milestone demonstrates we are continuing to offer the highest level of security for our clients.”

As a leader in healthcare claims review, Nokomis combines its proprietary ClaimWise™ technology with Nokomis team expertise and meticulous medical record review to verify claim accountability and save health plans an average of 9% in incremental dollars, with less than 1% in appeals. Nokomis is committed to prioritizing the protection of customer data, and successful achievement of SOC 2® compliance gives Nokomis ClaimWise™ clients ongoing confidence and trust in the Nokomis promise.
